TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Cox Skip & Waste Management Ltd accept no responsibility for damage claims arising from our vehicles delivering/collecting off the public highway. When delivering/collecting it’s possible that damage can occur to the ground surface or borders/kerbs of customers property. If it is requested that a skip needs to be placed on a public highway, it must be understood that it is at the customer’s request and any damage is the customer's responsibility. THE PERSON WHO HIRES THE SKIP IS OUR CUSTOMER. The skip is the customers responsibility after being delivered and before collection.
Skip Placement: Please do not move the skip once it has been delivered this could cause you an injury and potentially cause damage to the skip or your property. It could also cause potential problems when skip is collected as this could raise the risk of inadvertently damaging your property this would then be as outlined above as the customers responsibility. SKIP HIRE DURATION IS 10 Days. We are not strict on this but we would appreciate a call if you require it for a longer time or if it’s ready for collection.
Cox Skip & Waste Management Ltd will not accept the following items in the skip PAINT TINS (empty tins are fine but no tins with paint in), TYRES, FRIDGES, NEEDLES, ASBESTOS & FLUORESCENT TUBES. If any of these items are found in the skip there will be an extra charge or the items will be returned to the customer. (asbestos or needles in skip are also subject to a contamination charge of £50+VAT,
Level Loads: Skips are only to be filled up to top of the skip forming a level load if our driver is not happy to carry the skip as it is overloaded it will be left on site until it is taken down to a level load. Please do not ask or offer the driver any payment to take an overfilled skip
Skip Deliveries: Cox Skip and Waste Management cannot guarantee or specify a particular time for delivery. Unforeseen circumstances such as heavy traffic and roadworks, breakdowns or general delays can affect our delivery service which means we cannot guarantee a delivery time. We do offer an AM or PM delivery preference. We will try our utmost to deliver within the specified period but as above unforeseen delays can affect our delivery times.
Skip Collections: Please ring when your skip is ready for collection 10 days is a guide only. It usually takes between 1-5 working days to collect your skip after it has been booked in. If you have pre-booked a collection, we will endeavor to collect the skip as arranged but cannot guarantee the time.
Road Permits: Please allow 5 working days for the skip permit to become active. We cannot deliver a skip until the permit goes live. We will contact you before the permit end date to check if you need a renewal otherwise the skip would be collected on the last day of the permit.
Liaising or giving our Drivers Messages: Please do not give any delivery/collection information regarding your skip order to our drivers as they are unaware of your booking details. It’s best if you have any alterations/queries regarding your order to call the office on 01656 786553
